How to Post a Sale Event

Posting a sale event on RummageWisconsin.com is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to create your listing and make your event visible to bargain hunters across Wisconsin.

  1. Click List a Sale in the top navigation menu.
  2. Log in to your account or create a free account if you are a new user.
  3. Choose the listing package that fits your sale.
    Learn more about the available listing options.
  4. Enter your sale details, including location, dates, times, description, and photos.
  5. (Optional) Click Preview Listing to see how your listing will appear before publishing.
  6. Review and agree to the Terms & Conditions and submit your listing.

Tip: Use the Preview Listing option to double-check your details before submitting.

Tip: If a shopper searches for sales in an area and no listings are found, the search results page may display an “Why not Add a Listing?” option. This allows organizers to quickly submit a new sale event directly from the search results page.

Creating a free account allows you to edit your listing, update sale details, and manage future events from your account dashboard.

  • Free Basic Listing — A simple directory listing for individual sales.
  • PLUS Listing — Extended visibility and promotion for your sale event.
  • Featured Listings — Highlighted placement to help your sale stand out.
  • City-Wide Event Listings — Special listing options for towns, communities, and large multi-sale events.

City-Wide Sale Organizers

RummageWisconsin.com features Wisconsin’s largest directory of city-wide sales through the BIG List. Community organizers can promote town-wide, village-wide, or neighborhood sale events so shoppers acros events Wisconsin can easily find them.

Listing a City-Wide Sale

  1. Click List a Sale in the main navigation menu.
  2. Log into your account or create a free account.
  3. Choose the City-Wide Sale listing option.
  4. Enter event details including dates, location, and organizer information.
  5. Submit the listing to appear in the Wisconsin BIG List.

City-wide listings allow bargain hunters to discover large sale events happening across Wisconsin.

Featured listings receive additional visibility on RummageWisconsin.com and may appear in highlighted sections of the BIG List and other promotional areas of the website.

Login & Account Access

Resetting Your Password

  1. Click My Account in the top navigation menu.
  2. On the login page click Lost your password?
  3. Enter the email address used for your account.
  4. Check your email for the password reset link.
  5. Create your new password and log back into your account.

Tip: If you do not receive the reset email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

Managing Your Listings

  1. Click My Account in the top navigation menu.
  2. Log into your RummageWisconsin account.
  3. Go to your Listings Dashboard.
  4. Select the listing you want to edit.
  5. Update your sale information and save your changes.

Tip: Keeping your listing updated helps shoppers find the most accurate information about your sale.

Trouble Submitting Your Listing?

If your listing does not submit, check the following:

• Make sure all required fields are completed.
• Confirm you are logged into your account.
• Accept the Terms & Conditions checkbox at the bottom of the form.
• If uploading images, try reducing the image file size.
