EVENT
TYPE SEARCH
Use Event Type Search to search events
in an area of special interest to
you. If this is the only search criteria
that you have selected, all related
events will be listed.
In
the Event Type list, simply click
(highlight) on the event of choice.
You may also select more than one
event by holding down your Control
Key (PC) or Command Key (Mac)
and then click your selections. Then
click the Find Events button
at the bottom of the search form.
Remember, always call or e-mail the
event contact number to confirm events
that interest you.
LOCATION
SEARCH
Use Location Search to search events
by county, city, or a combination
of both. (ex: Dane/Madison) All events
for your chosen county, city or combination
will be listed.
In
the County list, simply click (highlight)
on the county of choice. You may also
select more than one event by holding
down your Control Key (PC)
or Command Key (Mac) and then
click your selections.
In
the City text box, simply type in
the name of your choice city. Unlike
counties, you cannot search multiple
cities. Then click the Find Events
button at the bottom of the search
form. Remember, always call or e-mail
the event contact number to confirm
events that interest you.
DATE
SEARCH
Use Date Search to search events by
a specific date or date range. If
this is the only search criteria that
you have selected, all events in your
date range will be listed.
In
the Date range entry, simply enter
the month, day, and year for your
start date. Then enter the month,
day, and year for your end date range.
(You don't need to enter an end date
if searching a single date) Then click
the Find Events button at the
bottom of the search form. Remember,
always call or e-mail the event contact
number to confirm events that interest
you.
KEYWORD
SEARCH
Of all the search options, Keyword
Search is the most powerful. The reason
is that you are searching all parts
of each event ad on Rummage
Wisconsin.com. (Including the
event description, event name, contact,
and address sections). All events
that include your keyword(s) will
be listed.
In
the Keyword text box, enter the keyword
or words associated with the event
you are looking for. Please separate
keywords with a comma and space.
Next, to narrow your search down even
more, click the radio button
that applies best to your search --
- Ad
must have at least one of the keywords
listed
- Ad
must have all of the keywords listed
- Ad
must have the exact phrase
Then
click the Find Events button
at the bottom of the search form.

that interest you.
COMBINATION
SEARCH
Now that you have learned about each
search option, you may combine two
or all options. The more search options
selected, the more detailed your search
results will be.
